Welcome to Show Off!

The next Show Off! will take place

on Friday the 31st of May at Cafe Koha.

Show Off! is a London version of the piano bars of New York. It is a place where anyone who loves musical theatre can listen to songs from shows new and old - and where anyone who wants to can get up and perform. Participants can (and often do) include enthusiastic musical theatre lovers, students, retirees, West End professionals and many more.

On the 31st of May, the doors will as usual open at 8:00 p.m.; the music will kick off at 9 p.m. and continue until 1 a.m. Food and drink will be available throughout the evening.

If you want to sing, just put your name and the song you want to sing on the sign-up sheet when you arrive. You may bring your own music, but we also have music from a variety of shows.

Show Off! costs £10 at the door (or prepaid via the PayPal form at the top right of this page). Reservations (to guarantee a place) can be made by filling in the reservation form or by sending an e-mail message to reservations@showoffpianobar.com. A large selection of wines and spirits can be purchased at the bar. Cafe Koha's full range of snacks and meals is also available and will be served to your table.

Cast members from BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY singing at Show Off! At Show Off! we have been having a great Autumn! September and October saw great nights with guest MDs Barney Ashworth and Nathan Martin and guest host Toby Hine. The 29th of October included a guest appearance from members of the cast of BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY and this past Friday (the 12th of November), host Nicole Faraday and MD Nathan Martin were reunited in front of a large crowd of loyal Show Off! regulars, first-timer attendees and others.

The next Show Off! is on Friday the 26th of November, and then because of the Christmas and New Year holidays we have just one night of Show Off! in December, on Friday the 17th. We will resume our regular fortnightly schedule on Friday the 7th of January.

We look forward to more fabulous nights!

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY Cast Members to Make a Special Guest Appearance

Cast members from BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY, which makes its London debut in November at Hoxton Hall, will be at Show Off! on the 29th of October and will sing a couple of songs from the show. Their performance will be the first public glimpse of the upcoming production.

As previously announced, Show Off! Musical Director Nathan Martin will be joined by guest host Toby Hine. There will, as always, be plenty of opportunities to sign for those who wish to do so.

The Return of Nathan!

Nathan Martin at the piano The next Show Off! sees the return of the incomparable Nathan Martin after his month-long absence. We're looking forward to having him back in his rightful place behind the piano.

He will be joined by guest host and Show Off! regular Toby Hine, who is looking forward to spending time on the other side of the sign-up sheet. We hope you will join us in making it another great night!

A Stunning Debut

Toby Hine warming up Show Off! regular Toby Hine made a great impression on the 15th of October when he made his debut as guest host. He was joined by Show Off! Musical Director Nathan Martin, whose return was greeted enthusiastically.

Toby will be making one more guest appearance before host Nicole Faraday returns. We hope that you will join Nathan, Toby and Show Off! participants old and new on Friday the 29th of October.

George Dyer to Act as Guest MD on 1st of October

Nathan Martin's shoes will again be changing hands (or feet) at Show Off! on the 1st of October. Guest MD George Dyer is a London-based Musical Director and Pianist, and we're sure you'll make him feel very welcome.

We're also pleased to announce that Nathan will be reunited with his shoes, and back behind the piano at Show Off on the 15th of October.
